We have received two samples of the handloom cloth, but we regret to say that the printing on the cloth is not of a superior quality. The cloth appears to be sub-standard. We showed these pieces to the handloom Board, Heise and they also rejected these samples outright saying that their own goods were far superior to that of your firm. We then surveyed their own goods and were very much satisfied with regard to their competitive rates and the quality of a material.

Hence, we very sincerely regret that we should be excused from becoming your agent and no further delivery should be sent us. However, the agency will stay, but only if you have got some very superior quality of handloom clothe. More samples may be dispatched and furthermore, if the prices also are competitive, the goods will be most welcome.

We are sure you will comply without any further delay, for we cannot wait for long, and we have already placed orders with the handloom board for a considerable quantity of goods. However, some quantity we wish to receive from you provided the quality is good and satisfactory.
